Hastings Progressives was formed in 2021 and is aligned with the national Indivisible movement, made up of thousands of local groups working to elect progressive leaders and rebuild our democracy. We are not affiliated with any political party or campaign, nor are we a Political Action Committee (PAC).
We welcome people from the Hastings community of all political backgrounds who believe in the principles of democracy, equality, human rights, civil rights, non-violence, global peace, and respect for one another. We're a place to learn about upcoming events and community activities, and to stay informed about local, state, and national issues.
From weekly rallies to community marches, here's what showing up looks like.
Join us every Saturday from noon to 1 PM at Highway 61 & 4th Street. Bring a sign and stand in solidarity for democracy and the Constitution.
We organize and join local marches and national days of action, from People's Marches to MLK weekends of service.
We share candidate questionnaires and voter information to help neighbors make informed choices at every level.
We bring people together across backgrounds to build a stronger, more connected, and more compassionate Hastings.
